Who Will Conquer the Copperhead Course at the Valspar Championship?
On this week's episode of "Who's Your Caddy?" the guys recapped yet another impressive performance from #TeamMullet, the Australian team of Marc Leishman/Cam Smith, who were the top dogs at the Zurich Classic.
Next, we head back to Florida to dive into this week's event: The Valspar Championship, to be played at the extremely difficult Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort outside of Tampa. It's known for its brutal three-hole stretch on the inward 9 aptly named, “The Snake Pit.”
Paul Casey was working his snake charming magic the last two outings here to reign victorious (not played in 2020 due to COVID). This year he’s back (although in regressing form), alongside the likes of DJ, JT, The Kokraken, The Prophet Abraham, Captain America, and a bunch of other intriguing in-form bermuda experts. Being a Par 71 with 5 tough Par 3s, tree-lined fairways, water and bunkering aplenty, and a giant copper snake at the entry, you best come correct if you expect to play the weekend at Innisbrook Resort.
Chief gives some potentially low-owned contrarian pivot plays for Draftkings. Legs breaks out THE HAMMER early and often, and Liam battles through an eye infection to continue his peppering of Corey Conners.
