Last week, I nailed the winner (Uncle Stewart Cink) in my Monday Misprices Draftkings Value picks, along with a lurking Captain Chris Kirk. So lets see if we can bag another this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans…
With this week’s unique team-play format we will look for some potentially low-owned diamonds in the rough.
McNealy/Bramlett - $7,900: Silico
Thompson/Gordon - $7,900: Just two guys familiar with bermuda grass golf, in relatively good form. Thompson’s a consummate professional who will keep the team steady. And with Gordo’s successful junior golf track record in this area of the country, and overall big game talent, I like this pair as a low-owned option below $8K.
NeSmith/Seiffert - $7,500: After a decent showing at his home course of Harbour Town, approach maven Matty NeSmith is backed paired with a new age Pete Dye expert, who’s also in good 6-month form, in Chase Seiffert. Frequently underpriced, don’t be shocked if this duo lurks near the top of the leaderboard.
Sicko Special: Hojgaard/Vaughn Taylor - $6,800: You couldn’t pick a more absurd pairing if you tried, but maybe there’s something to it. For those unfamiliar with young Rasmus, the Danish Dynamite is a blossoming Euro stud coming off a T-12 at the Austrian Open with prodigious ball-striking abilities. Paired with steady eddy VT, this could be a contrarian special come Sunday. But as always, tread lightly.
