*WARNING* This field is extremely weak following The Players and with Augusta looming so tread lightly...
#MondayMisprice Alerts
JT Poston - $7,900: Can THE POSTMAN deliver again on bermuda? Methinks yes. After a solid performance at The Players finishing 22nd in an elite field, including battling back over 10 strokes to make the cut, added to his history of 36th or better in three tries here, I’m banking on JTP to stay done lurking this week at the Honda.
Jhonny Vegas - $7,300: The gamblin’ man from the Big V hit a few long distance missiles at The Players, but his ball striking Off The Tee is really what he’s known for. A great track record here including a 4th has me ready to roll the dice (ok enough Vegas puns, got it) on Jhonny V this week at PGA National.
Denny McCarthy - $6,900: This one’s for you @RomeoTheCaddy. Usually an object of degens’ ire by about noon every Thursday, ole Denny boy was firing at all cylinders at Sawgrass, including an ace! While he eventually fell come Sunday, to see one of the world’s best putters hitting the ball well T2G, was a sight for sore eyes.
Charl Schwartzel - $6,800: The Straw Hat bandit from South Africa usually begins warming his loins leading up to The Masters (where of course he won). With four T17s or better in his last six attempts at Jack’s monstrous creation, I expect the man with the nicest set of chompers on tour to play well this week.
SICKO SPECIALS - Luke Donald & Vijay Singh - $6,000: PLAY ONLY IF YOU ARE SICK ENOUGH! You likely have last seen these two former Tour stalwarts while playing one of the old TW PGA games on PS2, yet, they continue to take on the Bear Trap, with some surprisingly good results. Again, only play as a last resort to fill out a top heavy lineup.
*Bonus Picks:
General Patton Kizzire - $7,500: short bermuda expert with 12 straight cuts made.
Bo Hoag (with a touch of Jack magic) - $6,600: SUPER SICKO SPECIAL
Good luck everyone!
